Flying high on my MRI woohooo :) :) :)

This is me last week at my MRI appointment. I have had many MRI’s and CT Scans over the past years. I don’t enjoy them because they remind me of when I was very sick plus I have to stay still for a while and those that know me know that isn’t easy for me to do πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ Usually my mum comes in with me because I get nervous. I don’t like closed spaces and the MRI can make you feel trapped and very alone. The Radiographers were so nice to me. They always are. They put me at ease and this time I went in on my own. That for me is another challenge that I conquered over that day so I was very proud of myself πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Anyway this MRI was different from all the others that I have had. This MRI was to reassure my family that I am fit enough to travel by aeroplane. Dr Mallia my neurologist told me that I was ok to fly, but my parents started to panic as they still feel very unsafe. Here there are the doctors and surgeons that know me. That comforts them! So Dr Mallia ordered the MRI and a follow up appointment for next month to rest their minds. As for me I just see this as the next step forward on my journey. So this MRI was a very special one for me because it’s one step closer to flying high in the sky wooohooooo and that is why in this Β photo my smile is even bigger than ever before Β πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
